I was scared shitless about hitting a cone (the paint marks super easy) but thankfully my Dad and I made it through the day without hitting a single cone. Much sideways fun was had and it was a great way to celebrate my birthday and the last event of the season. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! n.

I've never found that cones have left much of a mark on my car. And I've definitely run cones over by punting them with my door, fender, and straight down the middle of my bumper at autox. Granted I've never had even halfway decent paint so I guess I'm a bad judge. The amount of tape some people cover their cars with to try to protect it seems insane sometimes.

The contrast on the yellow shows everything that gets on the paint. You would likely be able to buff out a cone hit but we didn’t want to find out if you couldn’t. We were going to tape the bumper but it was raining so the tape wasn’t going to stick. It’s a very pretty color but it requires a lot of maintenance .

I definitely agree, it is an excellent color! So many of these on the used market are black or silver. Who buys a sports car and doesn't get it with some color!! I think all cars should have color but especially on something that actually looks decent too.

My dad had a dark gray 2013 before buying the Series.Yellow. The yellow is a lot of work but it is so worth it.

I’ve never seen more than a scuff mark that rubbed off with a finger from a cone. The only paint damage from autocrossing is the (very many) chips on the lower part of the car from sticky rubber throwing up stones.

nice, (and your dad gets about a dozen extra gold stars for letting you use his car to autocross)

Go buy the blue one. I don’t care if you’re 10 months away on the financial planner* . Maybe your dad will help. My dad and I both had twin RX-8s for 13 years. It was cool sharing that.

I currently have a bank account balance of $600, a part time job paying $400 a month while I am at school, and don’t graduate until the spring. If there was any way I could reasonably make it work I would be all over it.

I’ve had to work to get a couple of scuff marks off, but most have come off easily and I never had damage to the paint in the past two years of almost monthly events .

Well now you’re just making sense.

Sadly I lack the ability to make $15k appear out of thin air. That would be a really cool power though.
